Autocross events test car control, not car speed, making for a fun, safe, and competitive event no matter what car you show up with. Utilizing various sized parking lots and other unused large paved areas, such as the runways at Danville Regional Airport and the Old Sanford Airport, TSCC is able to provide a different, challenging course each event to test not only the car but the driver as well.
The autocross course is defined using traffic cones, with timing lights at the start and finish to collect your time. The object is to negotiate the course in the shortest amount of time without running off course or hitting any cones. With more than 30 classes that your car can compete in, ranging from bone stock Toyotas, Hondas, Chevys, and Fords, to cars with suspension and engine upgrades, to all out race cars, you can be sure there is a class for every car, including yours. We even hold schools and clinics for those wishing to better their driving skills. For more info please join our forum or contact one of our officers.
